If you’re looking to book Ryan & Ryan for a performance at your venue, you might have a few questions. For instance, you might want to know what type of repertoire we perform, or if we require two pianos for a performance. We’ve tried to anticipate those questions so that you can be even more comfortable presenting us in your community. So read below and you might find the answers you’re looking for. If not, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

What type of repertoire do you perform, and what would an example of your program be like?

We’re so glad you asked. Ryan & Ryan excels at both classic and contemporary music, from Bach to the Beatles. You can see our videos for some examples of the breadth of our abilities. But if you’d like to see what Ryan & Ryan concert would look like on paper, we’ve crafted two sample programs. Music by Mavericks is an example of a more contemporary concert, while Classic Ryan & Ryan features more classical works. We can even tailor a program to fit a more specific occasion. Just let us know what you’re looking for and we’d be glad to work with you!

Do we have to have two pianos for you to perform at our venue?

In most cases, we do ask to perform on two pianos, but if you don’t already have them, we have good news for you. Donald is a Steinway artist, so the cost of renting a piano from your local Steinway dealer would be waived—only the cartage fee would be required. Still, there are circumstances that would allow us to play with other instrumentation, so don’t let this issue deter you from exploring the possibility of Ryan & Ryan performing at your event or venue. Just contact us, and we’ll be happy to discuss it with you.

At what sorts of events do you perform?

Ryan & Ryan is available for any event where you need an engaging performance of superb music. We’re at home in the concert hall, but we also love to play for fundraisers, churches, corporate events, conferences, and more.

Do you perform in educational settings?

Absolutely. We believe that one of music’s best qualities is its ability to inspire, and who better to encourage than tomorrow’s leaders? Not only do we both have strong backgrounds in education, but we want to continue to use music as motivation for students to excel in every part of their lives. We’re available for educational concerts, workshops, and masterclasses. Just let us know how we can inspire your students, and we’ll find a way to make that happen.

Where are you based, and how far are you willing to travel?

We’re based in Tulsa, OK, but we’re willing to go anywhere our schedules will allow!

What do you charge per performance?

There are a number of factors that influence what we ask for each performance, including travel time, the nature of the performance (public concert, educational, etc.), the preparation required, and the equipment we’re required to bring. So to give you an exact figure, we really just need to hear from you. How would we best serve you?
